

PIXELS 2012: I Dare – nEbO’s First Photography Career Symposium for Youths
Some 100 youths attended a two-day photography symposium over the weekend, learning from professional photographers about breaking into the industry, and picking up tips on improving their skills and techniques. ‘PIXELS 2012: I Dare’ was the first ever symposium organised by youths from nEbO’s photography interest group, targeted at youths aged 18 to 25 who were considering photography as a potential career.

Youths Receive Labour Movement Accolades for Versatility, Inspiration, Passion & Unity
nEbO, the junior membership arm of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) hosted its second Spirit of Youth Awards today to honour the young people who have made significant contributions to the success of the youth community and its programmes. This year, 17 individuals and 6 teams received their awards from NTUC President, Diana Chia, and NTUC Secretary-General, Lim Swee Say at the awards ceremony held at St James Power Station.

MOU between ITE & NTUC – nEbO to Strengthen Ties in Student Development & Training
nEbO, the junior membership arm of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today to formalise their partnership in student development and training. NTUC Secretary-General Lim Swee Say, and Chairman of the ITE Board of Governors, Mr Bob Tan, were there to witness the signing ceremony held at ITE College East.
