THE QUEST is nEbO’s annual signature event to engage and challenge youth from ages 12 - 25. Inaugurated in 2008, this exciting event brings together over 2,000 youth every year in the spirit of fun and learning. Teams participate in activities and challenges which not only impart knowledge, but also encourage teams to strategise and think on their feet. Additionally, THE QUEST also strongly promotes teamwork and camaraderie to overcome the activities and challenges.
THE QUEST 2014 – Battleground will see youth coming together for the biggest elimination match in nEbO’s history. Participants are required to strategise and outlast opponents in order to be the last team standing. There will also be various interesting stations and outdoor activities planned to challenge the youths both mentally and physically. As the event enters its sixth run, THE QUEST 2014 – Battleground will bring participants different levels of excitement.

In 2013, The QUEST was given a storyline and plot, and a new category of "Ladies’ Challenge" was formed. Participants of The QUEST 2013 – Survivor Legacy competed in teams of four at Sentosa, overcoming obstacles and completing activities designed to test their wits, skills, strength and knowledge about NTUC and the Labour Movement. The race, which was flagged off by Guest-of-Honour, Mr Lawrence Wong, Acting Minister for Culture, Community & Youth, also included two record-setting bids by nEbO at the MegaZip Adventure Park.
In 2011, nEbO wanted to focus on the fun and colorful aspects of youths. Hence, activities for that year were designed based on quirky games from Japanese variety shows. In view of NTUC's 50th Anniversary, the event was also given the title of “Kawaii 5-o”.
In 2010, we titled the QUEST as the “Champions Edition” as Singapore was hosting the Youth Olympics Games and we wanted to combine history and knowledge of NTUC together with Sports. One of the key partners nEbO worked with that year was the Health Promotion Board.
In 2009, we had the “Museum Edition”. For that year, questions and activities revolved around the NTUC Labour Movement, nEbO and the cultural and heritage background of Singapore. For this event, nEbO also partnered with National Heritage Board. The Guest-of-honour was Dr. Vivian Balakrishnan.
In 2008, the theme of the QUEST was “finding nEbO”. This was because nEbO was formed on 7 July 2007 and the aim of the event was to create awareness for nEbO among the youth community in Singapore.
