May Day Appreciation Lunch, organised by NTUC Club in collaboration with NTUC, was held on the 8th of June 2012.

The purpose of this event was to give thanks to all NTUC -Club staff for dedicating their time and effort in order to achieve NTUC Club’s mission and goals.

Many staff gathered at noon to enjoy this meaningful event. To kickstart the whole event, 4 nEbO youths namely Jean, Farah, Afiq and Ridhwan from nEbO Music Community performed 2 songs from the nEbO first ever music album. The 2 songs are Nobody Enjoys Being Ordinary and Undeniable, which are composed and sung by the youths. Staff members thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they immerse in the catchy tune of Nobody Enjoys Being Ordinary and funky beat of Undeniable.

By the end of the performance, the youths had the whole crowd humming to the lyrics of the chorus- nobody enjoys being ordinary… even though it has only been performed once! The song was so addictive and easy to follow that everyone couldn't help but start along.

The nEbO staff turned into a mini fanclub for the youths as they took out their handphones and starting taking videos and singing along to the tunes.

After the performance, the youths had a chance to interact with Mr Lim Swee Say,Secretary General of NTUC who is also the Guest-of-Honor for the event as he came forward to offer his compliments and thanked the youths for their hard work.

Meanwhile, the nEbO album will officially be launched on the 21st of July 2012 during the nEbO 5th birthday bash held at Downtown East. Keep a lookout for that!
