Part 1. General

Q1. What is nEbO about? [Top]
It is an all-in-one lifestyle annual membership card priced targeted at the youth between the age of 12 to 21.

Q2. Does the word nEbO stands for anything? [Top]
Nobody Enjoys Being Ordinary

Q3. Who runs this club? [Top]
nEbO is run by the youth, for the youth.

Q4. When was nEbO officially launched? [Top]
7th July 2007

Q5. What is the main objective of nEbO? [Top]
Together with the Labour Movement – NTUC, nEbO aims to actively reach out & socially engage the youth who will form the future workforce of Singapore.


Part 2. nEbO card

Q1. What are the benefits/privileges of the membership? [Top]

Q2. What are the requirements in order to join the membership? [Top]
You must be a full-time student between ages 12 to 21. For those above 21(up to 25,) as long as you are not working full time; you are welcome to join. For those turning 12 this year but have not reached their 12th birthday, you are still able to join, but approval of the application would be on a case by case basis.

Q3. How much is the membership fee? [Top]
The usual price* of nEbO membership is $117 per year.

Q5. What is the validity of the card? [Top]
Depending on the type of membership subscribed, 01 year, 03 year and Ultimate (lifetime till 21 years old); validity takes effect based on the card issued date.

Q6. Is the card transferable? [Top]
No. This is a personalised card strictly to be used by the applicant only.

Q8. When will I be able to receive the card upon sign up? [Top]
Online application: Mailed within 2-3 weeks, completed with payment and photo submission **If either payment or photo not submitted, or application is incomplete, system will prompt applicant to come down to counters to provide photo and payment before card will be issued.

On-site application: On same day (may vary)

Q9. Return policy [Top]
No refund whether full or partial will be given once payment has been made.

Q10. Upgrading of membership [Top]
Upgrading of membership is not allowed anytime upon the commence of membership.

Q11. Renewal policy [Top]
Renewal of membership is only applicable upon date of expiry of membership.

Q12. Replacement of lost card [Top]
A charge of $10 will be levied.

Replacement of lost card can only be made at nEbOmation @ E!hub - Downtown East, 01 Pasir Ris Close #04-102.

Q13. If I lost my card, will I be able to get back my stored value in the card? [Top]
No. Cash and Funkey points in card will not be reinstated. However, LinkPoints will be carried forward to the new card as account is based on member’s NRIC.

Q14. Can I subscribe to more than 1 card? [Top]
No, an individual can only apply for one nEbO card.

Q15. How do I submit photo for my nEbO membership that I have paid for? [Top]

Part 3. LinkPoints & FunPoints

Q1. How are nEbO points awarded? [Top]

LinkPoints

FunKey!

First $15 = 75 points

Every $1 = 3 points

Every Subsequent 20 cents = 1 point

Exclusively at AMK Hub, nEbO members $1 = 5 points*

* Link and Funkey points will not be awarded during the processing of card. Only applicable for spending above $10

Q2. How do I accumulate points on my nEbO card? [Top]
nEbO Hub @ AMK and the rest of the Link merchants (except NTUC FairPrice) will be using LinkPoints to rewards points.

E!hub payment using funkey, will be awarded funkey points; other than that any other modes of payment will be awarded LinkPoints.

Q3. What is the expiry date for the Funkey points in nEbO card? [Top]
Fun points are valid for a period of 04 years from the date of issue.

Q4. What will happen to my Funkey points when my nEbO card expires? [Top]
Fun points will be void once nEbO membership expires unless member has existing Funkey card to credit over.

Q5. How can I check my LinkPoints balance? [Top]

Cardholders enquiring on their balance LinkPoints can do so via:

i)

LinkPoints website at www.linkpoints.com.sg

ii)

Customer Service Hotline at 6213 8008 (For NTUC members) or 6223 5225 (For max and PAssion members).

Q6. When will the LinkPoints expire? [Top]

i) LinkPoints earned in a calendar year will expire on the 31 December of that year. However, cardholders are given an additional six months grace to redeem their points (till 30 June every year). LinkPoints not redeemed after the grace period the following year will be expired. (Points earn this year will expire the following year)

ii) LinkPoints will be void once nEbO membership expires unless member has existing Passion or NTUC Card to credit over.

 

Q7. How and where can I redeem my LinkPoints? [Top]
You can readily redeem your LinkPoints* at any of the participating merchants´ outlets identified with LinkPoints´ signages. Or you may check out who the LinkPoints Merchants are from our website at www.linkpoints.com.sg

*As of now, NTUC FairPrice will not issue LinkPoints to nEbO card till further notice:

Q9. Is it possible to allow the parent’s NTUC link card/DeCard to combine with the child’s nEbO card? [Top]
Cardholders are able to combine up to 2 cards (either Funkey or Link cards) for redemption.

*Applicable only at Downtown East only.

Q10. If there is a replacement of my card, will my Link & Funkey points be reinstated? [Top]
Points earned will be carried forward to the new card only for damaged card. For lost card, please see answer for Part 2, Question 11.

Q4. What are the facilities available at nEbO Hubs? [Top]
nEbO Hub @ AMK Hub
There are Internet facilities, café, youth bulletin board, board games and nEbO merchandise. There is also a multi purpose room for movie, birthday party celebrations, small seminar/meeting available for booking (approx 15 to 30pax & is strictly for members only).

nEbO Hub @ E!hub
nEbO Hub @ E!hub is a one-stop integrated youth entertainment outlet which includes a café, Zone X, Funky Balls, X-Scoop and Cathay Cineplex. With a seating capacity of 120, the café has 6 Plasma TVs that play music videos and movie trailers. A multi-purpose room with a movie projector for private events or parties is also available. YOUths may also rent board games at discounted rates and choose to use any of the 5 internet kiosks at nEbO café. There are also 5 trading kiosks (WOW Display) which allow YOUth entrepreneurs to showcase and sell their items at the café, and a Nail Spa. There is also a cosy games area, equipped with 3 Nintendo Wii stations exclusively for nEbO members.


Part 5. Theme Parks (ETP & WWW)

Q1. What is the discount for an admission ticket? [Top]

Members are entitled to purchase Escape Theme Park or Wild Wild Wet admission ticket/member at a discounted rate of $7.50 (UP $17.70 and $15.50 respectively).

Terms & Conditions

  • Accompanying guests, if any, will be subject to normal admission scheme.
  • The discounted rate is not applicable to any other promotional schemes or special discount offered by the Parks.
  • Admission to the Parks will be denied if there is a private or corporate event at the Parks.
  • Retail outlets in ETP & WWW:
    nEbO members are entitled to enjoy 10% discount on normal retail items (including Fun Photo Souvenirs).
  • The discount scheme is not applicable to any other promotional schemes at the retail shops.

Q1. What are the benefits for Zone X? [Top]

A free nEbO TaPZ MIP card plus top up $10 onto your nEbO TaPZ card and get additional $2 play value

Collection/Replacement of nEbO TaPZ MIP card can be made at the following Zone X outlets (terms apply):

Replacement fee of lost nEbo TaPZ MIP card is $10.

Part 8. Orchid Bowl

$2.50 (off-peak) / $3.00 (peak)* per game (U.P. up to $4.50 during peak)

* Off-peak: 10am to 6pm weekdays/Peak: 6pm to closing on weekdays, full-day on weekends, PH Eve & PH

Terms & Conditions

• Not applicable during leagues, corporate events, tournaments, bowling academy lessons, cosmic bowling or in conjunction with other promotions.

• Special rates will be extended to cardholders only and is non-transferable.
